DISSERTATION PROPOSAL

2026 Spring Term

4 Units

Business Administration 920

This seminar focuses on the development and discussion of dissertation proposals. A dissertation proposal, which is a graduate school requirement, identifies what research question you want to tackle in your dissertation; it lays out the reason/justification for taking on that topic, and a statement about what steps you plan to take to execute the research. The development of the proposal is usually undertaken with close consultation with your dissertation committee members. Over the semester, students will work with their committee members to develop their dissertation to the point where significant progress toward dissertation proposal defense can be made.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: ADMISSION TO DBA PROGRAM
