This course examines major issues, debates, and theories in world politics today, and tries to examine the reasons for tension, arm conflict, and cooperation between and among states. It explores the role of nonstate actors and power relations in the international system. It includes topics in foreign policy, international political economy, globalization and the environment, and human right issues.
