Analysis of the decision-making structure and processes of American national government, including the role of parties, interest groups, and the value preferences within American society which affect the formation of public policy.
INTERMEDIATE INTERNATIONAL POLITICS
POL 275
This course examines major issues, debates, and theories in world politics today, and tries to examine the reasons for tension, arm conflict, and cooperation between and among states. It explores the role of nonstate actors and power relations in the international system. It includes topics in foreign policy, international political economy, globalization and the environment, and human right issues.
