Curriculum & Instruction Field 442

Being involved in a middle level classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will be placed in a clinical experience at the middle level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to classroom realities. This experience will assist students in showing evidence toward completing the INTASC Standards.
