The course objective is to provide students with the knowledge and understanding of the people, the culture, the economy and industries in India with a view to enhancing the students global perspectives in managing business. The on-campus portion of the course will consist of class sessions held every other Tuesday from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. (Dates: 9/11, 9/25, 10/9, 10/23, 11/06, 11/20, 12/4) during the fall semester. The study abroad portion of the course (two weeks of travel and study throughout India) is tentatively scheduled from Dec 29, 2007 to Jan 12, 2008. Contact the instructors of the course, Dr. John Chenoweth (chenowej@uww.edu, phone: 1592) or Dr. Choton Basu (basuc@uww.edu, phone: 1956 or 5005) for academic requirements and instructor consent. Space in the course is limited and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications received by May 20, 2007 will receive priority. After a student's application is accepted, the OIEP office will register the student for the course and bill the student's account (for a deposit on the course costs) over summer.
