This course provides students with the ability to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behaviors for young children. Specifically, students learn to understand the function of behavior, the skills to conduct a functional behavior assessment (FBA), and how to create, implement, and analyze a behavior intervention plan (BIP).
Other Requirements: PREREQ: (ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND (EARLY CHILDHOOD/EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION MAJOR) AND EDUINDP 319) OR INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL
