HYBRID
Students will engage with literary texts in fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and in hybrid and new media forms. They will learn to read as writers to gather stylistic tools that will help them develop their writer’s voice. Through in-class workshops and written comments, students will imagine new possibilities for their writing and that of their peers. They will meet authors through class visits and will be able to share their work with the student community through literary readings. They will explore what it means to develop a writing practice by exploring their bilingual (Spanish/Spanglish) writer voices.
