| The King Chavez Research Seminar course is the understanding, development, and utilization of a “system” of active learning for the participants of the King/Chavez Scholars Program. Students not only learn about the items noted on the curriculum, but also are engaging to participate in a system where they challenge to learn the content “actively” with a variety of strategies (i.e., research study groups).There will be emphasis on Undergraduate Research and the development of preliminary research projects in which scholars develop critical thinking skills, reading strategies, research writing skills, as well as enable scholars to design and structure their own research | |||||
