This placement provides the student with the opportunity to work with children who are typically developing, have disabilities, are at-risk for developmental delays and educational challenges, and living in a diverse society. Students will be involved in guided assignments to enable observing and reflecting upon children's growth and development, family-centered interactions, and the functioning of an early childhood educational setting. Documentation of hours and a final evaluation by the cooperating teacher are required.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND (EARLY CHILDHOOD/EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION MAJOR) COREQ: CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT IN EDUINDP 370 AND EDUINDP 324
