INTEGRATED CURRICULUM FOR CHILDREN: AGES 3-5

This course provides methods and instructional strategies for designing content area integrated curriculum for children ages 3-5. Students will develop the skills needed to create integrated lessons and projects based on their understanding of how children learn through play and attention to emergent ideas. This course offers an overview of content areas such as literacy, math, art, science, and social studies. An investigation of various early childhood programs and curriculum will also be an emphasis of this course.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND (EARLY CHILDHOOD/EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION MAJOR) COREQ: CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT IN EDUINDP 370 AND EDUINDP 324
