PUBLIC RELATIONS PRINCIPLES

The course explores the work of the public relations professional. It describes the contributions that public relations professionals make to successes of businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, political campaigns, and colleges and universities. Students learn about the importance of communication campaign planning and the managing of organizations' social media, special event activities, and news media relations. The course examines the impact of public relations on political and social systems.
