| This eight-week-one credit online course prepares counselors and other helping professionals to sustain personal wellness and professional effectiveness. Topics include the effects of stress, burnout, and vicarious trauma, along with evidence-based models of self-care and resilience. Students will create individualized wellness plans, engage in reflective practice, and apply strategies to prevent compassion fatigue while upholding ethical standards. The course integrates theory, research, and reflection to foster long-term well-being in clinical and school settings. | |||||
