PRESCRIPTIVE ANALYTICS FOR BUSINESS

Info Tech & Supply Chain Mgmt 483

This course focuses on extending students' abilities in modeling real-world managerial decision-making problems and then solving and interpreting those models using quantitative prescriptive analytics techniques and spreadsheet tools. A variety of real-world situations in which a manager might need to make a decision will be discussed during the semester and in each case, students will learn how to deal with that situation and make the "optimal" decision.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: (ITSCM 230 OR ITSCM 373) AND ((COBE MAJOR: 2.50 CUMULATIVE GPA) OR (NON-COBE MAJOR/MINOR/COBE MINOR: 60 CREDITS AND 2.00 CUMULATIVE GPA))
