Introduction to visual arts for the non-art major. This course will focus on art created by marginalized groups in the U.S. and their ethnic heritage. Multicultural perspectives will be explored; specifically the impact that race, ethnicity, and gender identity have on artistic production, art criticism, art philosophies and aesthetics.
