CAREER SKILLS FOR MUSICIANS

This course addresses the needs of 21st Century music majors and music minors preparing for a broad range of professional careers in the music field. Students will explore the variety of career paths possible with a music degree through discussions with faculty and guest speakers in the field while learning about and developing the skills necessary for successful musical entrepreneurship and community engagement. Students will explore their vision for a meaningful life in music and will use this vision to formulate individual career goals and tangible action plans for advancing their musical careers both before and after graduation.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: MUSIC BA OR MUSIC BM OR MUSIC MINOR
