MUSIC EDUCATION PEDAGOGY WITH FIELD OBSERVATION

This course is to prepare choral and instrumental music education students to successfully teach and administer an elementary and/or middle school choral or instrumental performance program. A wide variety of topics will be covered, representing the diversity of roles and expectations placed upon the public-school choral or instrumental music educators. Readings will be drawn from various text sources, Anderson Library reserve materials and instructor's personal library. Any student with special needs and who wishes assistance should contact the instructor at the end of class.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: MUSED 160 AND MUSED 278 AND MUSED 289 AND MUSED 359 AND ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
