This workshop is offered to give UW-Whitewater students the opportunity to be involved in community engagement through participating in a university program. Students in this workshop will learn the history of UW-Whitewater within the context of the UW System, the Whitewater community and the impact the university has on the region (socially, economically and civically). Students in this course will engage with the community through on and off campus programs, representing UW-Whitewater as Willie the Warhawk or as Willie's chaperone, and through their work as ambassadors of the university. |
