Curriculum & Instruction Gen 403

This course will provide students with the background to develop or select appropriate curricula and to design materials which enhance content-based language and literacy learning in K-12. The approach to curricular design and materials development is learner-centered and based in linguistically and culturally sustaining approaches, including translanguaging. This teaching methods course fulfills the requirements for both ESL-only and Bilingual/Bicultural + ESL licensure options.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: (CIGENRL 310 OR ESL 310) AND (CIGENRL 320 OR ESL 320) AND (CIGENRL 350 OR ESL 350)
