ONLINE LAT AM CULT & HIST
This course is a Spanish-language course geared toward students interested in learning about the history and culture of Latin America through Film. The course will focus on the development of all aspects of students' receptive and expressive language skills, as well as an in-depth study of the specific historical and cultural contexts pertinent to each film. Taken as a whole, this course will allow students develop a deeper understanding of the history and culture of various regions of Latin America, which expanding their ability to communicate complex thoughts, ideas, and concepts in both written and spoken Spanish. This course will run entirely in Spanish, although some of the films may contain a mixture of Spanish, English, and other languages spoken in Latin America.
PREREQ: (SPANISH 252) OR (PLACEMENT INTO COURSES BEYOND 252)
