A study and experience in the theories, practice and art of management from a creativity and problem-solving perspective. The course covers topics on how to foster innovation and pursue creative problem solving in organizations, addressing leadership, planning, organizing, measuring performance, motivation, teamwork, and intrapreneurship. Students will consider how to create a workplace environment that fosters curiosity, innovation and problem solving for organizations of all sizes, in a variety of industries.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: ADMISSION TO THE UPPER DIVISION BUSINESS COURSES AND 2.50 COMBINED CUMULATIVE GPA FOR BUSINESS MAJORS OR 60 UNITS AND 2.00 COMBINED CUMULATIVE GPA FOR MINORS/NON-BUSINESS MAJORS FOR WHICH THIS COURSE IS AN OPTION
