Health policy refers to decisions, plans, and actions that are undertaken to achieve specific health care goals within a society. This course examines the history, development, and current status of public health policy in relation to access and diversity issues. Emphasis on programs and legislation designed to facilitate access to healthcare and improve health communications for disadvantaged groups.
