Music Education 437
This course is to prepare choral and instrumental music education students to successfully teach and administer an elementary and/or middle school choral or instrumental performance program. A wide variety of topics will be covered, representing the diversity of roles and expectations placed upon the public-school choral or instrumental music educators. Readings will be drawn from various text sources, Anderson Library reserve materials and instructor's personal library. Any student with special needs and who wishes assistance should contact the instructor at the end of class.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL STUDIES AND SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF MUSED 160, MUSED 290, MUSED 278, MUSED 359
