This class will meet every other week on these six dates: 9/3, 9/17, 10/1, 10/15. 10/29, 11/12. The time of the class is approximate: some classes will be only one hour (Wheelchair Basketball Presentation). Other classes will involve field trips to destinations such as The Black Holocaust Museum, Hmong Peace Academy, The Milton House, or Madison Museums and will be half-day trips. In general, students should have Friday from 10:00-3:00 p.m. free for field trips. The instructor will add flexibility to the syllabus and provide alternate assignments if students are not able to attend 1-2 field trips. The event, destination, and date is subject to change due to the pandemic and scheduling of fall multicultural events. Feel free to contact the instructor in summer 2021 if you would like a confirmation of planned field trips."
