Foundational course of the Arts Management Program. A study of the duties and required skills of managers of non-profit arts organizations. Areas of study include an overview of structure of arts organizations, planning, programming, staffing, budgeting, marketing, fundraising, board development, and volunteer management. Assignments and projects will be geared toward students' specific needs and interests. Offered fall and spring.
