American Sign Language 142

This course focuses on the acquisition of American Sign Language (ASL) conversational skills and builds on the foundation laid in ASL 141. Students will continue to learn conversational language and visual gestural strategies to promote ASL fluency. Grammatical principles and functions; appropriate cultural behaviors and conversational regulators; and Deaf history and culture are emphasized.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: GRADE OF C OR BETTER IN ASL 141 OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR
