Designed primarily to acquaint the student with books and nonprint media which appeal to young people aged thirteen to eighteen. Emphasis will be placed on adolescent development, reading interests, and principles of and tools for selection. Reading, listening and viewing guidance techniques appropriate for the classroom and for the school and public library will also be detailed.
