INTRODUCTION TO FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

This course introduces students to the principles of financial accounting. Topics include the basic accounting cycle (i.e., double entry accounting), financial statements (i.e., income statement and balance sheet), and discussions of specific accounting rules at an introductory level.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: MATH 141 AND A MINIMUM OF 15 CREDITS COMPLETED AND 2.50 COMBINED CUMULATIVE GPA FOR ACCOUNTING MAJORS; MATH 141 AND A MINIMUM OF 24 CREDITS COMPLETED AND 2.50 COMBINED CUMULATIVE GPA FOR ALL OTHER.

Online BBA courses in the College of Business and Economics are charged separate tuition from the traditional face-to-face classes. The online BBA course tuition is not included in the 12-credit fixed tuition cost for traditional classes. The additional tuition charge is $389 per credit. Students must have access to the internet and an internet browser. A webcam may be required for remote exam monitoring.
