The course presents students the opportunity to achieve a clear grasp of formal Spanish as well as comprehension of the origins, development, and richness of Spanish and the peoples that speak it. It also offers a culturally contextualized, structured forum for the exploration of topics pertaining to the linguistic and cultural identity of Spanish speakers in the United States.
