This course will explore the role of racial minorities including African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics, & Asian Americans. As an Ethnic Studies (ES) course, this course thoroughly integrates the experiences of these groups into US history in a manner that fosters underst&ing & appreciation of their perspectives & experiences as well as their contributions to, & interactions within, American society. Many instructors also explore the experiences of ethnic, religious, & sexual minorities, or other traditionally underrepresented group
