Students develop initial conversational skills for fluency in daily social communication, on campus and in the community. The course includes an emphasis on pronunciation,including stress, rythm, and intonation, as well as on vocabulary development. Students must pass this course with a C- or better to advance in the IEP.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: BASED ON PLACEMENT CRITERIA, AND/OR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PREVIOUS LEVEL OF INSTRUCTION
