Students will continue to learn basic structural patterns of the Japanese language and be encouraged to further develop their proficiency in all four skill areas of the language (reading, writing, listening, speaking). as an intermediate course, however, increased attention will be given to the reading and writing in the Japanese writing system. Students will also learn aspects of Japanese culture that related to the lesson topics.
