Curriculum & Instruction Field 492
Offered on a satisfactory/no credit basis only. Designed to give the student experience in working with individuals in such settings as day care centers, nursery, elementary, middle and secondary schools. Repeatable for a maximum of 12 credits in degree.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: EDFNDPRC 210 AND ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL ED

Secondary Field study will meet each Friday 8:00 a.m. ' 10:30 a.m. This course consists of a seminar that is closely coordinated with CIFLD 402/404 Alternate Directed Teaching) where students are placed in local schools. Students should reserve MTWR either 7:30 a.m. ' 11:30 or 11:30-3:30 for their half day Alternate Directed Teaching (CIFLD 402 or 404) placement in the local schools. Students must register for 3 units of CIFLD 492 and 2 units of CIFLD 402 (Middle) or CIFLD 404 (High school). Students must receive a grade of S before begin permitted to student teach the next term. S/NC grading basis only
