An introduction to the techniques and aesthetics of printmaking. This study is grounded in the disciplines associated with the techniques of intaglio. Specifically, this includes drypoint, aquatint, and etching. In addition, alternative processes are demonstrated and applied in the study of monoprinting. Fullfills printmaking requirement.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: ARTSTDIO 230, ARTSTDIO 102 AND ARTSTDIO 201 OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR
