INTERNSHIP IN COMMUNICATION

Professional experience in which the student who aspires to a career in organizational communication/public communication,/interpersonal communication works for an approved employer in his/her area of interest. (A maximum of three units of internship may be applied toward a speech communication major; a maximum of three units may be applied toward a speech communication minor). Three additional units may be applied toward graduation, but not toward the major or minor. Students may only register for 3 units at a time. Repeatable up to 6 units. Prereq: Junior or Senior status, consent of instructor and those courses deemed necessary by the internship advisor.
