This course focuses on the organization of the language arts program in the elementary/middle grades with emphases on common functions of listening, speaking, reading and writing as elements of effective communication.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION ADMISSION. RESTRICTED TO STUDENTS WITH CURRICULUM ELEMENTARY EDUCATION MAJOR

Section 2 only ' This class will meet during its scheduled times from 1/22/08-3/4/08. It will break from 3/7/08-5/5/08 for field studies and will resume on 5/8/08 continuing until the end of the semester.
Classes other than ELEMMID 422, ELEMMID 425, READING 460, and field study should not be scheduled between 8:00 am and 12:30 pm.
If you enroll in Section 2 of ELEMMID 422, then you must enroll in Section 2 of READING 460.
