Engages the students in shaping viable perspective for teaching English in today¿s middle/secondary school; in planning, developing, and evaluating a course, a unit, and a lesson series; in considering and practicing several modes of instruction-learning; in individualizing learning for particular adolescents; and in preparing generally for the Teaching Practicum.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: EDFOUND 212 AND RESTRICTED TO STUDENTS WITH PROFESSIONAL ED ADMISSION

This course will meet during its schedule times from Tuesday, September 4, 2007 until Friday, October 19, 2007. Classes will break for field study experience and will resume Monday, December 3, 2007. Section 1 classes will run all semester long during the scheduled time. EA/A students should not schedule any other courses other than field study from 11 am ' 3:45 pm.
