The purpose of this course is to survey and analyze the American military experience from its Colonial origins to the 2000s/2010s ¿War on Terrorism¿ and the next greatest global threats. You will reach this objective primarily by means of reading, analyzing, writing on, and discussing this fascinating subject. This course looks closely at the tactical, operational, and strategic facets of American military history with specific focus on the U.S. Army.
