Psychology 755

Introduces foundational counseling skills and theory for application in the school setting. Advanced School Psychology Program students will develop basic interviewing skills including use of paraphrasing and reflection of emotion, asking effective questions, and use of more advanced skills including self-disclosure. Addresses theoretical foundations and evidence base of current models. Emphasizes application with individuals and groups in the school setting.
