Offered on a Satisfactory/No Credit basis only. Designed to give the student experience in working under the guidance of ESL or bilingual teachers in affiliated public schools in ESL or bilingual education. This course is for placements in middle or high schools.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: CIGENRL 403 OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR

This section is for ESL/BE minors who are Secondary or other majors (not Elementary/Middle). This course involves approximately 8 weeks of half-day placements in a school Monday through Thursday. When you enroll in this course you MUST NOT schedule any other classes or other obligations from 7:30-11:30 AM. Field Study dates follow other Secondary majors. By enrolling into this course I indicate my understanding that I may be moved to another section of the same course with a different instructor listed, based on who is assigned to supervise me in my student teaching/directed field placement. I also attest that I am enrolling in the correct number of credits, based on my licensure program plan.
