Students will also participate in the faculty-led travel study component of the course scheduled for Iceland from May 20th to 27th, 2018. Contact the Center for Global Education Coordinator: Dan Colleran (collerad@uww.edu), or the course faculty contacts: Professor Dr. Yuk Bhattacharya (bhattacj@uww.edu) or Dr. Ozgur Yavuzcetin (yavuzceo@uww.edu) for academic requirements or for more information about the course. Applications are due to the Center for Global Education on or before Friday, December 1, 2017. The application is online at www.uww.edu/international. The majority of the estimated Faculty-led course fee, as noted on the course application, will be charged to the student's account when enrolled by the registrar within the first two weeks of the semester. The program fee will be finalized later in the semester when participants have their travel documents and the university paid all expenses on behalf of the student. The students' accounts will then be adjusted if needed. Faculty-led travel study registration is not available via WINS registration. Student participants may not add or drop a travel study course via WINS once it has been added to their academic schedule. Failure to abide by the add/drop provisions of the Faculty-led Travel Study Program could result in severe financial penalties. Students are advised to refer to the application for more information on cancellation and refund policies.
