Elementary/Middle 425

The student will be instructed in how to assist the elementary/middle pupil in his understanding of mathematics, will become acquainted with different pedagogical techniques to be used in the contemporary mathematics classroom and will be taught to devise evaluation techniques to measure their effectiveness.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF MATH 149 WITH A GRADE OF C OR BETTER OR BSE SPECIAL EDUCATION MAJOR

Required on-site meetings at Jackson Elementary in Elkhorn W&Th January 4, 5, 11, 12 from 9AM-2:30PM. All other work is online. Completing a volunteer form will be required on Jan 4 to be in the elementary school.
