GENERAL EDUCATION FIELD WORK

SPECFLD 610

Students seeking licensure in Special Education will complete a 150 hour assignment in a general education classroom where inclusionary practices for individuals with special needs are applied. The field experience provides opportunities to become familiar with the range of students' abilities, curricular focus, achievement expectations, enhancements, adaptations, and modifications of instruction and collaborative practices of general and special educators.

FIELD STUDY INFANTS AND TODDLERS WITH DISABILITIES

SPECFLD 685G

In this field study, students practice written and oral reflection about early intervening services and accomodate their beliefs and knowledge of theory to the daily experiences of families living and raising infants and toddlers with disabilities in natural environments. Students share their reflections during weekly on-line discussions with the instructor.
