Ed Foundations Practicum 210

This course introduces prospective teachers to the teaching profession, educational philosophies, and the structure of schools. It includes a fieldwork component that complements classroom instruction. Offered on a letter grade basis only. Repeatable.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: PASS TWO SECTIONS OF PPST AND 2.75 COMBINED GPA. COREQ: EDFOUND 243 AND [ONE OF FOLLOWING: EDFOUND 222, EDFOUND 230, EDFOUND 212 OR EDFOUND 481] OR PERMISSION OF DEPARTMENT.

This will be conducted hybrid, meaning a significant portion of the classes will be online. Class meetings will be held on the following dates and times. All face to Face course meetings are required. Please note: A required 50-hour field study accompanies the courses in the block and must be completed between April and July 20th. Placement will be arranged by the instructor immediately after enrolling in the course.
