Curriculum & Instruction Field 401

Professional laboratory experience is provided under the guidance of carefully selected qualified cooperating teachers in elementary school classrooms in the area. Students with licensure who desire recommendation for licensure by this University, must complete at least 3-6 units of directed teaching on this campus regardless of the number of units earned elsewhere.

MC/EA majors enrolled in methods block courses must enroll in CIFLD 401 or CIFLD 402 and CIFLD 492. Field study meets from Monday, October 18th and will continue until Friday, December 3rd. MC/EA students should not schedule any other classes from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm unless they are part of the methods block (ELEMMID 422, ELEMMID 425, and READING 460).
