Ed Foundations Practicum 210

This course introduces prospective teachers to the teaching profession, educational philosophies, and the structure of schools. It includes a fieldwork component that complements classroom instruction. Offered on a letter grade basis only. Repeatable.

Other Requirements: COREQ: EDFOUND 243 AND EDFOUND 212 OR EDFOUND 222; PREREQ: STUDENT MUST HAVE PASSED AT LEAST TWO SECTIONS OF THE PPST AND 2.75 GPA BASED ON AT LEAST 12 CREDITS OF WORK OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR

On campus class work will be June 2 to June 18 on MWF from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. In school experience will be in Milwaukee from June 21 to July 9 on MTWR from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Students must have their own transportation for the field portion of this class.
