PRE-STUDENT TEACHING, ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE LEVELS
CIFLD 726
Being involved in elementary and middle level classrooms enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will be placed in a clinical experience at the elementary level and a clinical experience at the middle level. Reading instruction will be a focus within the pre-student teaching experiences for candidates seeking initial licensure. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge to classroom realities.
CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMS ELEMENTARY

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS ED PROGRAM MIDDLE OR SECONDARY

Being involved in a middle school or secondary classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experiences, students will complete a field experience at the middle school level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to the classroom.
CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMS HIGH SCHOOL
CIFLD 762
Being involved in a secondary school classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experiences, students will be placed in clinical experiences at the secondary level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to classroom realities.
PRACTICUM
CIFLD 793
Professional laboratory experience is provided under the guidance of carefully selected qualified cooperating teachers in elementary, middle, and secondary school classrooms. Repeatable for a maximum of 8 credits for majors.
