The study of mechanics, heat, wave motion & sound. Recommended for students majoring in business, elementary education, medical technology, pharmacy, pre-dentistry & pre-medical studies. Three hours of lecture & three -four hours of Lab-discussion per week or equivalent. Students may not receive credit for both PHY 141 & 201.
Other Requirements: PREREQ: MAT 105 OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR UNREQ: A STUDENT MAY EARN CREDIT FOR ONLY ONE PHY 141 OR PHY 201.

In case either of these weekends are cancelled due to weather, labs will be rescheduled for August 1-2. UW College Courses Online courses are charged separate tuition from the traditional face-to-face classes. The online UWCCO course tuition is not included in the 12-credit fixed tuition cost for traditional classes. The additional tuition charge is $263 per credit.
