Social Work 771

Students will utilize practice experience and theory to inform research. Students will examine quantitative and qualitative research designs, applying critical thinking skills to analyze research. Students will develop an ethical plan, design, and conduct one evaluative study of an intervention/program which will be concluded in Research Integrative Capstone project.

Other Requirements: PREREQ: TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COURSE, THE STUDENT MUST BE ENROLLED IN THE MASTERS IN SOCIAL WORK PROGRAM AND MUST HAVE COMPLETED SOCWORK 712 (SOCIAL WORK PSYCHOPATHOLOGY)

This is an online class with four monthly synchronous online meetings, which will be held via Web-Ex Meetings on Tuesdays from 5:00pm-7:00pm. This is a web based course using Canvas. A short while before class, information will be sent to each student's UWW email address.  Required additional fee of $50 per credit will be assessed for this class.
