Communicative Disorders 380
In this course students will learn about the process and sequence of speech and language development in children from birth to school-age. Theories of language acquisition and the role of cognition, culture, context, and caregivers are discussed. Students will particpate in a community-based learning experience working with linguistically and culturally diverse preschool children.
Other Requirements: EDFOUND 222, EDFOUND 230, PSYCH 331 OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR
